This PD will explore the signature practices of SEL in a supportive learning environment. Social emotional learning is the process of looking within yourself and beyond yourself in order to effectively and positively support emotional health and promote the development of social skills. The ability to interact appropriately in public settings through social awareness, effective communication, and proper use of manners helps build strong relationships and can lead to both personal and professional opportunities.
